This course aims to provide the knowledge and skills required for a person specialising in occupational health and safety. It is also suitable for the safety professional seeking a national education qualification to enhance their job knowledge and prospects.

BSBOHS505A Manage hazards in the work environment
BSBOHS506A Monitor and facilitate the management of hazards associated with plant
BSBHR509A Manage rehabilitation/return to work
FNSICORG513A Implement quality systems within work area

Duration
360 hours nominal duration.

The course is presented by recognised specialists in the area including occupational health and safety specialists, lawyers, and accredited trainers.

Prerequisites
Students must possess reasonable literacy and numeracy skills with a sound grasp of spoken English and have successfully completed the Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
