Industry Spotlight

Glenn Arnold from Arnold & Associates

Now in its sixth year of operation, Arnold & Associates remains focused on the Insurance and Safety arenas.  Founder and owner, Glenn Arnold, moved into the recruitment industry in 1997, following a ten-year career in the Workers Compensation industry. Specialising in recruiting Workers Compensation and Safety people, he has drawn upon his industry experience building strong relationships with both clients and candidates alike. “It’s been interesting to watch the industry evolve over the years," says Glenn, suggesting that when he started in the industry, people generally “fell into it”.

He says that there have been some significant changes to peoples’ attitudes in both Workers Compensation and Safety roles.  “Roles within these areas have now become attractive career paths and people are becoming more strategic about the roles that they accept.”

Arnold & Associates have built an extensive database of candidates at all levels that have been specifically selected for their experience and expertise in the areas of Workers Compensation, Safety and General Insurance.  Glenn also highlights that he has an excellent team of people working with him.  “I was always disillusioned by the broader recruitment industry and its behaviours,” says Glenn. “It’s about working closely with people, both candidates and clients to achieve the right outcome. It’s not a perfect science, but the better you communicate with each other and the closer the relationship – the better the outcome for all.”

The team share the same values and this provides for a successful formula.
