OHS Legislation by Email Pty Ltd provides an email subscription service that enables workplaces to keep up with the latest changes to legislation. If you have an OHS role in your organisation, you can be assured that you are up-to-date with the latest changes to the legislation to which you subscribe. This service assists those responsible for OHS in complying with the law by providing up-to-date information about changes to the law when they are introduced.
Our clients Our clients come from a broad spectrum of service, industry, education, construction and health areas. They include Workplace Health and Safety Officers (WHSOs) of medium and large businesses, supervisors, managers and employers of small businesses and the self-employed.
About us Arising from the needs of busy, time-poor WHSOs, managers, supervisors, employers and other persons responsible for occupational health and safety, this service fills the need for a simple way to keep up-to-date in an effortless, efficient manner.
About the service Whenever there is a change to the legislation, subscribers receive an email to their nominated email address notifying them of the change and providing a link and relevant information about the change.
Currently, the service covers eight types of Queensland legislation (other legislation may be included upon request). The legislation covered at present includes:
Workplace Health and Safety (including codes of practice) Electrical Safety (including codes of practice) Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Fire Safety Coal Mining Safety and Health Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Child Employment Industrial Relations (including codes of practice)
How it works LEGISLATION ALERT As a subscriber, you will receive emails about changes to the legislation for which you have subscribed—when the changes are introduced.
Each Legislation Alert has links (hyperlinks) to the changed legislation. Just click on the link to view the legislation online. You can then decide whether this legislation applies to your workplace.
You will only receive a Legislation Alert when there are changes. If you don’t get a Legislation Alert, there are NO changes that month, but this means you can be assured that you are up-to-date.
THE SAFETY NET At the end of each month, you will receive The Safety Net, which will list the changes to legislation for that month. This email provides an easy way for you to check that you have not missed any changes to legislation that apply to your workplace.
The Safety Net may include a short article on a workplace health and safety topic.
Subscription Rates Subscription rates are very reasonable, which makes this service affordable for all workplaces, regardless of their size. Clients of this service include small, medium and larger enterprises. Call us for more information on our rates. |
